Chapter 3 Lee looked around the Outback, it was full of families including her own and instead of being happy and joyous as she normally was when she was out with them, she was full of panic and fear. The fear was for her life, she remembered how she used to be so brave, she could climb hundred foot trees and never once flinch, unless she fell of course, but now walking into a family restaurant filled her with fear. All because of the one woman she had once loved so dearly loved, her grandmother, and the one who had claimed to love her in return. But in truth had just used her, she had stolen her away from her father, destroyed her mother and nearly made it so that she would die, all so she would have the most power. She tried to shake off her fears and convince herself that her father would never let anything bad happen to her again, but after living in fear for the past decade, it was a hard thing to do. They sat down at a table almost immediately, and very shortly after they were approached by a waiter who took their orders. They were sitting down chatting about her latest accomplishments in school when a lady approached them. She knew that this was Katherine Bell through the various articles in the newspapers and with one look at her she knew that Alexis had been correct in her original assumption. K: Hello. N: Hi Katherine. S: Hello. K(looking directly at Lee): Who are you? L: I'm Lee. K: Lee, who. L: Lee, Stefan's daughter, Ms. Bell. K: His what? S: My daughter, Katherine, did you lose your hearing in the fall. K: But you don't have children. You've said so a million times. S: You trusted a Cassadine to tell the truth? Shame on you. K: Yes I should know better, shouldn't I? L: Good-bye Katie. K: What? S: I believe she said good-bye. K(frowns): Good-bye. As soon as Katherine leaves Alexis starts to laugh. A: That's why I love this girl, she has the best taste in people. L: Uh Dad, what were you thinking? N: Hey what's wrong with Katherine, and don't you dare say she's a peasant. L: Even though she is? Well, if I can't say that, then she's a bitch. N: You talked to her for like two seconds. L: And I saw it before she even spoke. Dad I can't believe you were going to marry her. S: Please, don't remind me. Alexis and Lee both laughed.
