Chapter 11: Elizabeth Cassadine… Lucky and Liz walked up to the porch. Liz took a couple of deep breaths and laughed softly. “Its okay, Sarah will understand,” Lucky assured her. “Yeah, I’m sure she will…” Liz sighed and rang the doorbell. They both waited. Liz was getting more nervous. ‘I hope Sarah doesn’t get mad at me for putting her in hell,’ She thought to herself. Suddenly, the door opened. A man in his early thirties with strawberry blonde hair opened the door. “Hello, may I help you ?” He looked to see Lucky there. “Hey Lucky, you here to see Sarah or Marlene?” “No, um… this is Elizabeth Webber,” Lucky pointed out. “The Elizabeth Webber that Sarah said was dead?” he asked. “Yeah, that’s me,” Liz gave a weak smile. Suddenly, Sarah comes from behind. “Derek, who’s at the door?” she asked. She looked in front of her and saw Liz. “Liz?” Sarah asked. “I thought you weren’t going to make it…” “Sarah, I…I told Dr. Scanlon to lie for me about my condition,” Liz explained. “I’m fine.” “But, why Liz? Why lie to me, Emily?” “Can I come inside?” Liz asked. “Yeah, sure,” Sarah felt her eyes begin to fill up with tears. Liz and Lucky walked inside the house. Sarah and Derek led both of them to the living room to sit down. “Here, have some coffee,” Derek offered. “No thank you,” Liz smiled. She and Lucky sat down on the couch close to one another. Lucky held her hand in his and gave her a smile. “Thank you…” Liz said softly. Lucky had a idea that Liz was hurting, something other than Nikolas was keeping her back. He wanted to see if Liz was going to explain everything, he was pretty sure she was. Sarah and Derek sat down and looked at Liz and Lucky. Sarah wanted to know where her sister was for the past two years. “Lizzie…I want to know where were you the past two years?” Sarah asked. “Okay, I knew someone would ask me this,” Liz’s eyes filled with tears. “God, why is this so…hard?” “Hey, hey, it’s okay,” Lucky held Liz’s hand tighter. “Just relax…and tell us if you want.” “No, I’ll tell you,” Liz looked at her hand then to Sarah, Derek, and Lucky. “I was held captive…in an island by Greece, I’m not sure where.” Liz explained. “Just like my mother?” Lucky asked. “Yeah…” Liz looked at Lucky. “Nikolas took me away from the docks the night Lucky left.” Liz sighed, and looked at her hand, where she saw her ring. “I’m married to Nikolas.” “What?” Sarah asked. “How?” “I was forced to marry him, he promised me if I’d marry him, he’d let me go! Under a condition that I return and that I never see Lucky again.” “He didn’t want you to see me ever?” Lucky asked, getting a bit furious. “Yes, he saw that I missed you so much…” Liz cried softly. “He was jealous…and dangerous.” “What did he do to you?” Sarah asked. “He almost killed me…” Liz said softly. “You see Nikolas and I…” Liz stopped herself, before she told everyone the secret. ‘I should tell them’ she told herself. ‘Lucky has the right to know.’ “Nikolas and you what?” Lucky asked. “What happened?” Liz looked at Sarah, Derek, and Lucky and sighed. “Nikolas and I had a child together.” She lowered her head.
