Chapter 6: Believe me *+*+* Lulu looked out the window and thought to herself. ‘Would Nikolas ever forgive her’ She turned around and saw her father deep in thought. "Dad, you can’ tell Lucky." Lulu said. "You can’t tell him about Alexandria." "Fine, but I’m going to tell him about Elizabeth Webber." Luke agreed. "Okay, thanks dad, I’m just afraid that if he finds out, Nikolas might kill Alexandria." Lulu looked down. "Did you get a chance to see her?" Luke asked. "Yeah, she looks so much like Liz." Lulu smiled. "She doesn’t look like Nikolas at all." "I also know, that if Lucky finds out, he’ll become furious." Luke explained. "Look at what happened to me and your mother." *+*+* Emily Bowen-Quartermaine-DiGanto, looked out the window of the helicopter and saw that they arrived. She saw as the helicopter landed, she prayed that Liz would be okay. "Move her out!" shouted one of the paramedics. They were on the roof of the hospital, and Emily was panicking, she got out of the helicopter and felt it was so windy from the propeller. "Where are they going to take Liz!" Emily shouted, trying to get her voice overheard in the wind. "We’re going to take her inside, and place her in the ICU!" one of the paramedics shouted. Emily calmed herself down and followed the paramedics inside. As they were on their way to the ICU, Emily saw as many doctors and physicians came running. She noticed Bobbie Spencer at the front desk. "Mrs. Spencer." Emily said, as she got to the front desk panting. "Emily?" she smiled. "Wow, how are you?" "I’m fine, but there’s no time for small talk." Emily sighed. "Emily, calm down, what’s wrong?" Bobbie asked. "Elizabeth Webber." "She’s dead Emily…" Bobbie explained. "No, she’s in the ICU, you need to hurry, I don’t know what’s wrong with her!" Emily cried "What? She’s here." "Bobbie, we need you in the ICU now." Interrupted an intern. "Yeah, okay." Bobbie looked at Emily and headed off to the ICU. Emily watched as Bobbie ran toward the ICU, she decided to take a break, so she waited in the waiting room. ‘I hope Liz is all right.’ She said to herself. *+*+* In the Intensive Care unit… "What’s wrong?" asked Bobbie. "This girl was transported from a hospital in Italy, she passed out, she has bruises, she’s not in pretty good shape." Bobbie heads to the girl’s bed. "That’s Elizabeth Webber!" she cried. "You mean? The girl that was said to be murdered two years ago?" asked an intern. "Yes, she’s alive!" Bobbie smiled. "Her memorial service is tomorrow morning." Suddenly, Dr. Joe Scanlon comes through the room. He sights Bobbie quickly. "Bobbie, I’m glad your here." "What’s wrong Joe?" "I need you to assist me in surgery if this girl needs it, now we need to get x- rays on this girl for broken bones, she seems to have some internal bleeding, we need to see if any organs were damaged." He explained. "But first we need one of her family members to come and sign the papers." "She has a sister named Sarah, I can try to contact her." Bobbie explained. "All right, go on the phone and call her now, we need to act fast." "Okay, I’ll be back." Bobbie headed off. She ran down the hall, she couldn’t believe Elizabeth Webber was alive. Just the other day there was a report about a body being found matching Liz’s description, and now she appears in the hospital. She spotted Emily sitting in the waiting room. ‘Emily knows Sarah, maybe she can help.’ She walks into the waiting room and calls for Emily. Emily looks up and gets up from her chair. "Mrs. Spencer? What’s wrong with my friend?" Emily asked frantically. "Emily, I need you to contact Sarah Webber." Bobbie explained. "Why? What’s wrong?" Emily asked. "Liz, she needs to have a family member sign the papers in case she needs surgery." "Okay, I’ll try Mrs. Spencer." Emily said. "Thank you Emily." Bobbie sighed. "I wonder what Lucky’s reaction is going to be." "Yeah, I know what you mean." Emily sighed. "Do you think I should tell him?" "I don’t know if that’s a good idea." Bobbie sighed. "On second thought…he has the right to know." With that Emily scurried off out of the hospital in search of Sarah Webber. ‘Wonder where she could be?’ she thought to herself. ‘Of course! Kelly’s!’ She looked around and headed to Kelly’s. *+*+* At Kelly’s… "Well, it was nice meeting you Lucky." Marlene got up from her chair. "Here’s my number if you need anything." She gives him a small piece of paper with her number on it. "It was nice meeting you Marlene." Lucky smiled. He made a friend, a friend that could understand what he’s going through. He watched as she left out of the restaurant. He got up to go up to his room, maybe he’d watch some television. Lucky opened his room and shut the door from behind. He went over to his television set and turned it on. He watched as the news came on. ‘I guess I’ll watch the news’ he sighed to himself. The first story caught his attention, it was about Liz. He turned up the volume and listened to what they were going to say. *+*+* "Today, the Port Charles police department closed the case of Elizabeth Webber. After two years of her disappearance, she was found brutally beaten to death at the catacombs early Friday morning. Evidence points to Nikolas Cassadine. Nikolas Cassadine was said by his father Stefan Cassadine, that he went crazy after learning about his paternity. His life long dream of being a prince, shattered, causing a mental breakdown. Elizabeth Webber, was the apple of this ‘prince’s’ eye. She was the victim of a mad obsession." "Nikolas, he loved her very much." Stefan came on. "I didn’t think he would ever do such a thing." He started to cry. "Mr. Cassadine, do you find your son guilty of this crime?" asked a reporter. "Yes, he wanted everyone to feel pain, he thought it gave him power." "Do you know where his whereabouts are at this moment?" asked the reporter. "No, I just hope he comes back and sees what he has done, he killed the girl that young Spencer loved very much." He sighed. "Where is the sweet Nikolas, everyone grew fond off?" Lucky continued to watch the report. ‘I’ll get my revenge.’ he said to himself. He watched as they started to talk about the case. "Elizabeth Webber, was the young sister, of Officer Sarah Webber. Sarah, worked on the case and prayed for a miracle. Her dream of having her sister laid to rest, is tomorrow at ten o’clock in the morning, if you want to attend that’s all the information you need." "Remember, the Port Charles community will have a tribute to this young lady tonight. So stay with us when we cover the last of this report tonight. ‘Sad ending to a fairy tale’ tonight. We’ll hear from her parents reactions, and how it drove her grandmother to have a heart attack." *+*+* Lucky shut off the television and heard screaming down stairs. ‘What the?’ He opened his door and ran down the stairs, to see what was going on. "SARAH!" called the voice. Lucky comes down and sees Emily panting and panicking. "Emily?" he looked at her. "Wow, how was your honeymoon?" he asked. "Lucky, oh thank God." She tried catching her breath. "I don’t have time to talk, where’s Sarah?" "Emily, calm down, are you all right?" he asked. "I need to find Sarah Webber, do you know where she is?" Emily asked frantically. "She said that she needed to go to the cemetery to make arrangements for Elizabeth’s funeral tomorrow." He laughs bitterly. "What’s wrong? You can tell me?" "Lucky, I’m not sure that I can." Emily sighed. "Of course you can, nothing could be worse." Lucky laughed. "Lucky, this might cause quite a shock for you." Emily said softly. "What is it?" "I came to find Sarah because." She paused. "Because?" Lucky asked, waiting for Emily to finish. "Lucky, Liz, she’s alive." She said.
