Chapter 3: The visit… After thinking she didn’t survive the fall, Liz was forced to swim the cold waters until she could see the boat. "Oh thank God! The boat!" she felt relief come over her. She started to swim along till she could get to the boat. She grabbed onto the side of the boat and started pushing it out into the water, but it wouldn’t budge. She was getting so tired, she didn’t want to give up, so she pushed it again and felt the boat move. She waited, and saw that the boat was stuck between two rocks. "No! I have to do this!" she started to cry. She felt the storm getting stronger. The waves were crashing on top of her, but she wasn’t going to give up. She kept on trying to push the boat out. The clouds were getting darker, thunder was rolling through the sky. Liz finally after pushing with all her might, lost hope that she would even survive. As the waves got bigger and stronger, Liz couldn’t help but think she was going to drown. The boat wasn’t going to budge, and she had no way to go up the cliff. Even if she did, she wouldn’t want to stay with Nikolas. She tried to stay where she was, but the wind and the waves felt stronger than her. As she tried to swim, the waves carried her off, tossing her, and carrying her off somewhere unknown. Liz lost all hope and gave up. Her body was too exhausted, all she could do was wait for fate to do the rest with her life. *+*+* Nikolas Cassadine was furious, he didn’t want Liz to die. He wanted to be with her forever, but he was just to hard on her, that he literally pushed her off the edge. He cradled Alexandria, who started to cry for the comfort of her mother’s arms. Nikolas stared down and tried to make her feel better, but it was no use, it was like Alexandria already knew Liz was gone. Nikolas went up the stairs with his daughter still in his arms, and headed toward her room. He opened the door and placed Alexandria in the crib gently. Nikolas started to cry. "Why did I do this?" he said softly. He noticed that Alexandria closed her eyes and cried herself to sleep. Nikolas gave his daughter a smile and closed her room. He sighed and walked toward his bedroom. He walked in and cried, "Elizabeth, I didn’t mean to hurt you…" he said softly. "Master Nikolas…" walked in Hannah. "Go away!" Nikolas screamed. "But, Mr. Cassa… "I told you to get out!" he screamed slamming the door in Hannah’s face. Nikolas looked around his bedroom and saw Liz’s jewelry scattered along the dresser, and he looked at the closet door open revealing Liz’s bag. "Why did I have to hurt you?" he asked himself. *+*+* "Hello…pretty baby…" said a voice. Alexandria opened her eyes and laughed as she saw a old woman hovering over her crib and smiling. "Hello…I’m your great grandmother, Helena Cassadine." She smiled. "You are the princess to the Cassadine throne my dear." Alexandria looked as the old woman watched her every move. Alexandria started to cry. "Shh… I’m not going to hurt you." Helena gave a wicked smile. Suddenly, Nikolas comes into the room and sees Helena about to touch Alexandria. This caused him to get furious. "What are you doing here?" he asked coldly. "My dear Nikolas, I’m here to see the princess." Helena smiled innocently. "Don’t you dare touch her!" Nikolas snapped. "Nikolas, I’m not going to kill her, unless I have to." Helena raised an eyebrow. "You evil witch, get away from my daughter!" Nikolas screamed, running to Alexandria’s side. "Nikolas, she’s family…but I still know that you aren’t the Cassadine heir." Helena looked at Nikolas coldly. "You were never Stavros’ son." "No, I am! I have to be, you see I am the Cassadine heir." "No, Nikolas, remember when your so-called uncle, told you that you are his instead." Helena started to laugh. "Helena, he’s a liar, my mom…Laura, she wouldn’t lie to me!" Nikolas turned away. "Ah, Laura, don’t you realize what your doing to Elizabeth?" Helena asked. Nikolas turned around and looked at her cautiously. "How do you know about Elizabeth?" "Nikolas, I’m not stupid, you played that same game Stavros did with Laura. You played the ‘Let’s take the Webber away from the Spencer’ game." She laughed. "You are repeating history." "No, I can’t be, Elizabeth she’s dead." Nikolas said closing his eyes. "Are you sure about that?" Helena asked curiously. "She jumped off the cliff just a while ago, no one could’ve survived that fall." Nikolas explained. "But, what if she did?" Helena asked. "No, there was no way." Nikolas laughed. "And you know what? I wanted her dead!" he screamed. "Now, I don’t have to deal with her crying and whining on how she misses Lucky." "Nikolas, you don’t mean that at all." Helena laughed again. "You were in love with her, weren’t you?" Nikolas stayed quiet. "Yes…" he sighed. "And she loved me." *+*+* Liz washed up on a shore around Italy… An old man and woman found her, and decided to take care of her. "This girl looks in bad shape." Said the old woman, placing a towel on top of Liz’s head, washing the cuts on her face. "She’ll be okay, she looks like she was royalty?" the old man said, noticing Liz’s dirty, tattered, yet expensive looking dress. "Oh, now Joe, don’t go saying those things." The old woman laughed. "Do you actually believe that she could be a princess." "Look at her dress Gwen." Joe said pointing to Liz’s dress. "Its nothing like I’ve ever seen." "Hmm…maybe your right." Gwen looked closely at the fabric. "Feels like some sort of satin or silk." Suddenly, Liz’s eyes fluttered open. Gwen and Joe looked as Liz was waking up. "She’s awake Joe!" "Yeah, I wonder what her name is?" Liz opened her eyes completely and saw the two people looking at her. "Wha-?" "Hello, you’ve been unconscious for a while, are you all right?" asked Joe. "Uh…" "What’s your name?" asked Gwen. "My name…my name is…" "Do you know who you are?" asked Joe curiously. "Joe, let the girl speak!" snapped Gwen. "I don’t remember…" said Liz. *+*+* Lulu Spencer walked off Nikolas’ private jet and headed toward his house. Many of Nikolas’ guards made sure that Lulu made it there safely. Nikolas, wasn’t expecting Lulu’s visit, but the question was roaming around Lulu’s head. ‘Is he going to be mad?’ "Miss Spencer, over here." Directed Vincent. "Thank you Vincent." Lulu smiled, walking inside the garden. "Wow, it’s so beautiful." she noticed the roses and lilies all over the terrace. "Miss Spencer." Vincent motioned her to follow him. "Oh, right." Lulu smiled, as she followed Vincent into the mansion. ‘Geez, Nikolas is so rich’ she thought to herself. "I’ll go get Master Nikolas for you." Vincent smiled. "Sure, okay." Lulu nodded and stood on the first floor waiting for Nikolas. *+*+* "What are you saying? She loved you!" Helena laughed. "Nikolas, she loved young Spencer and you know that." "No, grandmother listen to me, we had a daughter together." Nikolas sighed. "She told me that she loved me everyday, until…" "Until?" Helena asked curiously. "She remembered, and when I hit her." Nikolas explained. "You hit her?" "Yes, and you know what was scaring her?" "What?" Helena asked, waiting for Nikolas’ response. "I loved hitting her and abusing her, it gave me power, and she knew that." Nikolas looked down. "That’s why you didn’t have another child?" asked Helena, Nikolas knew she was becoming nosey, but he answered. "I became too aggressive with her, I threw her every time she thought of…Lucky." he made a fist. Suddenly, Vincent comes knocking on the door. "If you’d excuse me." Nikolas walked over to the door. "What do you want?" Nikolas grew angry. "Can’t you see I’m busy?" "Master Nikolas… I… Lu…" "What?" asked Nikolas. "Tell me!" "Miss Spencer to see you." Vincent said finally. "Lulu?" Nikolas asked. "Oh, all right, I’ll be down." Nikolas smiled. Vincent left and Nikolas closed the door looking at Helena coldly. "Get out!" he snapped. "I want you out, my sister is here, and I don’t want you to give her trouble." "Nikolas, I’m going to make a deal with you." She stared at Alexandria, sleeping in the bed. "If you dare try to banish me from your house I’ll make sure your daughter wont be alive for her second birthday." Helena said sternly. "What? you can’t do that." Nikolas begged. "She’s all I’ve got…" "Ah, well then…everything you say to me counts on whether your daughter lives or not." "No, you can stay, but please Alexandria, she’s my life." Nikolas looked at Helena sadly. Helena looked at Nikolas coldly, then smiled. "Then it’s settled?" Helena raised an eyebrow. "Yes…" he sighed. "Good, then that also means Miss Spencer’s life as well." "What? you never said anything about Lulu!" Nikolas looked at Helena worriedly. "Don’t you dare lay a hand on Lulu or my daughter, you hear me!" "Then you understand?" "Yes, but if you don’t go with our agreement, I’ll have you killed before you get off this island." Helena looked at Nikolas and nodded. Nikolas gave Helena a cold stare, he had to handle his temper, for it would mean Lulu and Alexandria’s life. Nikolas walked out of Alexandria’s room and headed downstairs where he saw Lulu waiting patiently. "Lulu!" Nikolas smiled, giving her a hug. "Nikky. It’s so good to see you." "Yeah, so what brings you here?" Nikolas asked curiously. Lulu looked at Nikolas and sighed. "My family is suffering from the past again." "Really? What is it this time?" "Elizabeth Webber, she was killed and Lucky feels like dying himself." "Oh…" Nikolas looked at Lulu fearfully, she couldn’t find out about Liz being his wife, and that she was killed by him. "Nikolas, are you all right?" asked Lulu, detecting his red puffy eyes. "Have you been crying?" "There was an accident Lulu…" Nikolas sighed. ‘Maybe I could tell her, maybe she would keep it a secret.’ "Oh? what happened? Did something happen to my niece?" Lulu said in worry. "No, something happened to the mother." Nikolas said softly. "What happened?" Lulu asked. Nikolas looked at Lulu and said, "Lulu, can you keep a secret?" "Yeah, what is it Nikky?" Lulu asked, noticing his eyes filling with tears. "Two years ago, when Elizabeth Webber was murdered." "Yeah, we had to move that very night." "She wasn’t murdered Lu." "What are you saying?" Lulu asked cautiously. "Nikky you’re scaring me, tell me what it is." "She was kidnapped." "Oh my God!" Lulu placed her hand over her mouth. "By who?" "Me." Nikolas explained. Lulu’s eyes grew wide with fear, Nikolas took Liz away from Lucky, he took her and held her captive? Just like her mother? "Nikky? You took Liz?" "Yes, Lulu I did." Nikolas said softly. "Nikky, that’s wrong, why did you do it, you hurt Lucky thinking Liz was dead." Lulu got angry. "I can’t believe you did this, I know Lucky and you don’t get along, but you had no right!" Lulu stammered. "Lulu?" "Nikky, I’ve got to get home." "What? No, you told me you could keep a secret." Nikolas grew angry. "You aren’t going to leave this island and tell the Spencers, including Lucky!" "What? Nikky, Lucky loved her, where is she?" Lulu looked around. "Liz!" "She’s not here." Nikolas got quiet. Lulu stopped and looked at her brother in distress. "where is she Nikky?" Lulu demanded. "She’s dead." *+*+*+* Emily and her husband Trevor came from their honeymoon in Hawaii, and decided to visit Trevor’s parents in Italy… "You have to get your rest." Gwen suggested to Liz. "I need to know…who I am?" Liz said softly, as she held onto her throbbing head. "Gwen, Emily and Trevor are here!" Joe called, looking out the window. "Trevor’s here!" cried Gwen. "Oh, I can’t wait to see him!" Suddenly, a young man and woman come into the house. "Mom! Dad!" cried the man from downstairs. Gwen ran down the stairs and to the man. "Trevor!" she gave him a hug. "Hello Mrs. DiGanto." Said the girl coming from behind. "Emily!" screamed Gwen. "Wow, you look so beautiful, how are you?" asked Gwen giving Emily a tight yet comforting hug. "I’m fine, we’re both fine, except about my family." Emily explained. "I know, I heard, are you all right?" Gwen asked concerned. "Well, my whole family’s out of business, ELQ is ruined, the money is gone." Emily sighed. "Ned, is trying to get into singing to make a living." "Oh, I’m so sorry." "Where’s dad?" asked Trevor. "He’s upstairs, taking care of a girl we found while we were picking up seashells." "Oh?" asked Trevor. "Hey, you guys can come up if you want, the poor girl doesn’t remember who she is." Gwen said softly. "Oh, wow…she’s not in a bad condition?" "No…but she does look strange." Gwen raised an eyebrow. "She’s looks like she could be royalty." "Mom, why do you say that?" "Come upstairs and find out." Gwen motioned for Trevor and Emily to come up. Emily and Trevor dropped their bags, and headed upstairs. They went into the room and saw the girl sitting on the bed. Liz looked to see two different people walking in. "Hello." Said Emily, approaching her. "Hi." Liz said. "Do I know you?" she asked Emily. "I don’t think so…" Emily looked at Liz carefully. "You do look familiar though." "What’s your name?" asked Trevor. "I can’t remember." Liz sighed. "Who am I?" she asked herself, "Why can’t I remember?" Emily looked at Liz in wonder. "Do you remember anything?"
