Chapter 20

Sonny: Hey, you both look beautiful!

Robin: Thanks so much, Sonny.

Brenda: Thanks Sonny.

Brenda smiles and turns around, she sees Ned enter, followed by Lois, but no 
Brooklyn.

Brenda: Oh my God! Lo?

Lois smiles.

Lois: BREN!!

They hug, Sonny is smiling and he hugs Lois and Lois just goes around hugging 
everybody! Brooklyn walks in wearing a long silky white thin strapped dress with 
her hair down and part of it up in a ponytail. Jerry stares at her, he seems to 
be attracted to her. Sonny notices her too, but isn't attracted to her. He 
notices that he has never seen her before. Ned sees Brooklyn and turns around.

Ned: Hey, sweetie.

Brenda looks at Ned strangely.

Brooklyn: Hi everyone.

Jerry: Welllll… hellllo there.

Brooklyn smiles at Jerry to what seems to him a killer smile.

Lois: Everyone… this is mine and Ned's daughter, Brooklyn.

Brenda's eyes widen and a smile comes to her face.

Brenda: Wow! Look at you, you are so beautiful. Oh Lo, she's gorgeous!

Lois: Brooklyn, this is your godmother, Brenda Barrett.

Brenda and Brooklyn hug.

Brooklyn: I have heard a lot about you, godmother.

Brenda smiles and has tears in her eyes just as Katherine walks in with a black 
sparkling dress on, without straps and very short. Lois is wearing a maroon 
dress that look really cute on her, has long purple stripes across it. Laura, 
Lucky, and Liz walk in. Laura is wearing a dark blue sparkling dress. Lucky is 
wearing a tux, and Liz is wearing a hot green dress with thin straps, looks very 
much like Brooklyn's. Everyone from PC was there now. 

Luke: Hey Laura! Meet Ned and Lois' daughter Brooklyn!

Everyone meets Brooklyn and it seems that everyone loved her, and thought she 
looked beautiful. Just like the mother and father. When Jerry had seen that 
Brooklyn was being left alone, he grabbed her hand and drifted her off to the 
side, not knowing that Ned was secretly watching him.

Jerry: The name is Jerry Jacks, Brooklyn.

He takes her hand and gracefully kisses the front. Then he puts it down.

Jerry: I just want to make my presence known. Save a dance for me, ok?

Brooklyn: Sure.

She smiles as Jerry walks away, Jerry bumps into Jax and Brenda.

Jerry: Hey little bro.

Jax: Hey what's up with you?

Jerry looks at Brenda, and Brenda walks away, knowing that Jerry wanted some 
privacy with Jax.

Jax: I have been off in a faraway land tonight. Did you meet someone?

Jerry: Oh yeah, I met someone all right.

Jax could see that Jerry was staring at Brooklyn who was speaking to Sonny, 
laughing and talking with him.

Jax: Oh NO, Jerry.

Jerry: What?

Jax: Not Brooklyn, you know Ned wouldn't allow that, it's his daughter!

Jerry: Who says she's interested in me?

Jax: Jerry, who wouldn't be? You are too flirtatious with every woman you see.

Luke has everyone's attention by going on the stage.

Luke: hey everyone, thank you for coming to this surprise party. It seems we 
have another surprise also. If you haven't met her, you can meet her now! Meet 
Ned and Lois' daughter, Brooklyn! Come on up here babydoll!

Brooklyn smiles as Sonny guides her to the stage. Luke gives Brooklyn a huge 
hug. Everyone is cheering and clapping. Brooklyn turn to get off the stage but 
Luke grabs her hand.

Luke: No way girl, you stay up here and host with me!

Brooklyn: Sure Luke!

Brooklyn laughs and spots Jerry, their eyes link and Jerry winks at her, with 
Jax watching closely behind.

Luke: But… now for the big surprise… it’s about my wife, Laura. Get up here 
sweetie with me and my, hostess!

Laura steps onto the stage and waves to everyone.

Luke: Say hello to Laura and the baby living inside of her!

Everyone gasps and smiles, they all clap and shout “Congratulations!” Laura 
steps up to the mic.

Laura: Uh, surprise?

Everyone laughs.
