Chapter 30

Robin headed to her room after she accepted the Cassadine medallion. As she 
arrived she saw John waiting for her. He smiled at her as she came in. She sat 
down. She looked at John. 

Robin: Why are you smiling? 

John: I just enjoy seeing you so happy. And I am glad that you were able to 
spend time with Nikolas. 

Robin: You knew about Mom and Stefan? 

John: Of course. Those two were wonderful together. You and Nikolas remind me of 
those two. 

Robin: Tell me about it? 

John: Your grandfather brought your mom to meetings here all the time. She and 
Stefan were together a lot. In fact an arranged marriage was arranged for them. 

Robin: What happened? 

John: Stavros. He was a very cruel person. 

Robin: He hurt mom? 

John: No. You mother was too well guarded. But he could never find a wife. And 
tradition said that Stefan couldn't get married until Stavros got married. And 
when Anna was 17 and Stavros wasn't married the contract was cancelled. 

Robin: Did they love each other? 

John: Yes. Stefan loved your mother so much that he let her go. He wanted her to 
live her dream of being in the WSB. He promised to be there for her and he 
always was. 

Robin: I can see that in his eyes. 

The two of them continue to talk. A couple of hours later, Robin arrives for the 
meeting.
