Chapter 29

Stefan was speaking to Robin and Nikolas. Robin had just accepted Stefan's offer 
of her being treated as a member of the family. Stefan then asked Robin if she 
would accept the medallion that he had made for Anna. Robin thought about it. 

Robin: I will accept the medallion. But I will not wear it. 

Nikolas: Why? 

Robin: I am the head of a family. I need to stand on my own. By wearing a 
medallion I would be weakened in the eyes of the other member's of the 
commission. I will accept the medallion but will not wear it. 

Stefan: I understand Robin. Would you object if I put it around your neck. You 
can remove it afterwards. 

Robin: I can't agree to that Stefan. 

Stefan: Can I ask why Robin?

Robin looks at Nikolas and smiles. 

Robin: I would like Nikolas to put it around my neck. If he has no objections. 

Nikolas and Stefan smile back at Robin. 

Nikolas: Of course I will put the medallion around your neck. 

Nikolas takes the medallion from Stefan. He puts it around her neck. He then 
gives her a kiss. 

Nikolas: Welcome to the family Robin. 

Robin: I am just a special friend for now. 

Nikolas: Your more then a friend to me Robin. 

Robin: And you are more then a friend to me too. 

Robin removes her medallion. She then joins John in her room. John smiles at 
Robin. They talk.
