Chapter 25

While Stefan and John were talking Robin and Nikolas were taking a tour of the 
island. They both knew that they had to talk about Robin's new role. They 
arrived at a spot overlooking the water. They sat down on a bench. 

Robin: This is so beautiful. 

Nikolas: Thanks. This was a great place to grow up. Robin, we need to talk. 

Robin: I know. I am sorry that I didn't call you about this. 

Nikolas: I am surprised but you were probably busy. I know how much time it 
takes. 

Robin: I was. I was also scared. 

Nikolas: Of what? 

Robin: Of how you would react. You’re very special Nikolas. I was afraid that my 
being involved in the organization would cause me to lose you. 

Nikolas puts his arms around Robin and pulls her closer to him. 

Nikolas: You haven't changed Robin. You are still the person I fell in love 
with. This is just a job. What you are inside hasn't changed. 

Robin smiles at Nikolas. 

Robin: Thanks. I am so lucky to have you. 

Nikolas: I am the lucky one. Does Jason know? 

Robin: Yes he does. 

Nikolas: How did he react? 

Robin: Not to well. He wasn't happy with the news. 

Nikolas: I am sorry. How did he react? 

Robin: By asking me to quit. 

Nikolas: But you can't. Because you are honor bound to do it. 

Robin: You do understand. I was born into this. I could refuse but it would be 
denying part of myself. 

Nikolas: We were both born into our positions Robin. That’s something that Jason 
can't understand. 

Robin and Nikolas continued to talk. They were about to kiss when Stefan joined 
them. They were both blushing…

Stefan: Excuse me. But I would like to speak to Robin. 

Nikolas: I will leave you two alone. 

Stefan: It is all right. I would like for you to join us. 

Nikolas, Stefan and Robin head inside and they talk.
