Chapter 10 Robin was sitting in her Limo. She was on her way to her meeting with Moreno. John was sitting next to her. She was noticing how her life was different. As she left Luke's club she had bodyguards around her. Although she was used to having guards these guard were different. These men were guarding her life but she also knew that she was responsible for them. The other guards worked for Jason, John or her father. But they worked for her. That meant that she had to take care of them. And the Limo was also different. It didn't belong to Jason or Sonny or even Nikolas. It belonged to her. She realized that she was no longer a regular citizen. She was a member of the elite. As she sat in the Limo she was also reading a file John had given her. She noticed John looking at her. John: Pretty overwhelming isn’t it? Robin: Yes. It is hard to believe that I have this power. But being in this Limo which is mine and having guards around me. I don't know if I will get used to it? John: You will Robin. I remember my first few days in power. People always looked to your grandfather. But suddenly they looked at me. And the Limo and the guards are not only to protect you, but to let people know that you are in charge. It takes awhile but this will become part of you. Are you ready for your meeting? Robin: I am a little nervous. But I am ready. John: You will do fine. I will be there to provide any help. But its you meeting. Robin: I know. I am ready. The Limo pulls up at the door. The driver opens the door and Robin and the others get out. Robin thanks the driver and heads into the club with the others following her. As she enters the club she notices everyone looking at her. She walks up to Moreno. Robin: Mr. Moreno. Thank you for attending this meeting. Moreno: What can I do for you Ms. Scorpio? Would you care to take a seat? Robin takes her seat. John sits down next to her. Robin: I am here to inform you that I have formally taken over the Dover Organization and its seat on the Commission. The Commission has also asked me to discuss some serious matters with you. Robin notices Moreno looking at her with concern. Moreno: I see. Let me be the first to congratulate you. And what can I do for you and the commission? Robin: We need to discuss your repeated attempts to kill me. The commission will not accept repeated attacks on one of its members. Moreno: I did not know that you are a member of the Commission. And the bombing was the first time. Robin: Don't lie to me. I know about your plans for me in Paris. Moreno: I don't understand what you mean. Robin: I know that after Nikolas Cassadine was shot that you asked Jason if the news reached Paris. Of course Jason rushed to Paris. But what he didn't know was that you had a hitman in Paris. And he had orders to kill me when Jason saw me. Your man made a full confession to my people. Moreno: Ms. Scorpio. I didn't know that you were a member of the commission. You were Jason Morgan's girlfriend. That made you a legitimate target. Robin: That’s another thing. We have rules. You target other mobsters. You don't target family members, lovers and other civilians. These rules exist for a reason. By targeting non-organization people it attracts public attention and that gets the police involved. You have put us in danger with this constant targeting of civilians. And it will stop. Moreno asks Robin what she meant.
