Chapter 7

Robin listened to John tell her of her plans to stay in Port Charles with is 
wife. She knew that she needed an advisor to help her lead the organization 
after John had died. She needed someone she can trust and can help her unite the 
organization. She looked around and saw Luke. She invited him over to her table. 
He sat down. 

Luke: What’s up Robin? 

Robin: Luke I want you to meet my cousin John Thatcher. John this is Luke 
Spencer. 

John: Nice to meet you Luke. 

Luke looks at John. 

Luke: You look familiar. Have we met before? 

John looks at Robin. 

John: (to Robin) He has a good memory for faces and details. He might be a good 
choice. (To Luke) Yes, we have met before Luke. You were working for Frank 
Smith. He had a meeting. 

Luke: You were the number 2 mobster in that English organization. I remember 
you. There was an older gentleman. A Charles Devane. 

John: Robin's grandfather. 

Luke: I didn't know that your family was in the organization Robin. 

Robin: I didn't want anyone to know. Luke I need your help. 

Luke: All you have to do is ask. 

Robin: You know who my grandfather was. When he died I was named head of the 
organization when my Mom refused. John was named my regent until my 20th 
birthday. I am now 20 and am now head of the organization. I need an advisor to 
help me. I would like it to be you Luke. 

Luke: You’re an Organization head like Jason? Robin, are you sure that this is 
the life you want? 

Robin: No. I don't want this life Luke. Mom turned it down because she knew that 
it wasn't for her. And if I had the choice I would turn it down to. But I have 
no choice. The organization is split and if I don't take over there will be a 
war within the organization. I can't let that happen, Luke. 

Luke: You can refuse Robin. 

Robin: I know. But if I do the war will be very bloody. And I will be asked to 
pick a side. And if I refuse then one of the sides will attack me. It usually 
happens in an organization civil war. So the only way is for me to take over. 
And I can use the protection. 

Luke: What do you mean? 

Robin: I know that Port Charles is in the middle of a move war. Jason and Moreno 
are fighting each other. I have all ready been attacked twice by Moreno. He 
threatened me just after Nikolas was shot and then the car bombing. Will I be so 
lucky next time? Jason can't protect me enough. I need to protect myself. Dad 
said it best. Never trust anyone to protect you expect you. 

Luke: That’s classic Robert. So where do I come in? 

Robin: Dad trusted you with his life. He knew that you would back him up. I 
trust you. I need someone who I can trust to help me run this organization. You 
know this world Luke. I can use your help Luke. 

Luke: I am honored that you trust me Robin. And what do I get? 

Robin smiled. 

Robin: My protection for you, Laura, Lucky and Lulu. I can have my people 
protect your family. Jason is good but he acts without thinking. I know that you 
don't like trusting others too. You and I can help protect ourselves and the 
people we care about. 

Luke: Why should I trust you over Jason? What do you have that Jason doesn't? 

Robin: A seat on the commission. 

Luke: You’re a commission member. 

Robin: Yes I am. I have been asked to calm down PC. I need your help Luke. If I 
don't do this then PC will have more violence and people we care about will be 
in danger. We can protect these people together. What do you say Luke? 

Luke looks at Robin. He tells her his decision.
