Chapter One Sixteen-year-old Luke Spencer stands in front of the mirror and straightens his tie. He couldn’t believe he agreed to this and was thinking about changing his mind, but he had already spent most of the money. So, he didn’t have any choice but to go through with it. He was wondering how Josh did this almost every night and still looked at himself in the mirror. Bobbie ran into his room and he picked the six-year-old up and sat her on his dresser. “How is my favorite little sister?” Luke asked her. “I am your only little sister and why do you have to go out tonight? You said you were going to take me to the movies,” Bobbie said, sticking her bottom lip out and pouting. “I am sorry little sister, but this is important. I will take you to the movies tomorrow and we can spend the whole day together,” Luke said, kissing her on the cheek. “You promise?” she asked brightening up a little bit. “I promise and now let me finish getting ready. Josh will be here any moment and I don’t want to keep his friend waiting,” Luke said picking her up and placing her on the floor. Bobbie left the room and went to listen to the radio. Ruby stood in the doorway and she said, “You don’t have to do this. We will find a way to keep this place some other way,” Ruby said. “We have to get the money by tomorrow or we are going to on the streets. I can’t let that happen. Aunt Ruby, don’t worry it is only this one time. After tonight, I will go back to school and pretend nothing happened but we have no choice right now,” Luke said and kissed his Aunt good night Josh soon pulled up in a Silver Stingray and Luke got in and they sped away. Luke looked at his friend and asked, “What is she like?” “Does it matter? You only have to be nice to her and do what she asks of you. You play your cards right and she might even want to keep you around,” Josh said. Luke wasn’t too sure about doing this anymore than just this one time and the uneasiness got stronger as they pulled up to the estate. Josh drove the car up the long drive of the estate. Luke couldn’t not believe someone lived like this. He almost told Josh to turn back. Before he could say anything, they stopped in front of the mansion and Josh got out. Laughing at the expression on Luke’s face, he tossed the keys to the valet. “Relax, think about all the money she has,” Josh said. The two boys walked into the main hallway and a lady took their coats. Josh grabbed a drink for him and his lady friend. He motioned Luke to do the same. They walked into the ballroom and found the ladies. Josh kissed his friend on check and introduced Luke to the women. “Luke, this is Joan. She is my special friend and this is Helena. She is going to be your companion for tonight,” Josh said. Luke took a deep breath and kissed Helena’s hand. “I am glad to meet you,” Luke said. Luke looked at the lady and was taken with her beauty. She stood a little taller than him and looked like a china doll that Bobbie had. Her skin was soft and fair, and her hair was a long silky brown. She smiled at him and pulled him closer to her. “I am not going to bite. How about a dance and we can get to know each other better?” Helena said and pulled Luke onto the dance floor. They spent most of that evening talking and dancing but the part that Luke was dreading came when she was ready to leave. They headed to her limo and headed back into the city. The second the door was closed and they were driving down the road, Helena pulled him close. She started kissing him long and deep. Her hands started to move up and down his body. Luke pulled away and asked, “Could we go a little slower?” Trying to get his breath back. “You haven’t spent any time with a woman before. Have you?” she asked him and pulled him even closer. Luke lied and said in high voice, “Sure, but I just want to take it a little slower. We have all night.” Helena smiled knowingly and nodded her head. “We have longer than that if things work out. I might want to keep you around. So, relax and let’s have some fun.” She started running her hand under his shirt and kissing him on the neck. Luke was glad she wasn’t that bad to look at because it made what he was about to do a lot easier. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The next day as Luke was getting dressed, Helena walked up behind him. “I have a deal for you. How about being my special friend? I will make it worth your while,” Helena said running her hands up and down his body. “What are you offering me?” Luke asked. “I will give you a car, a place to stay and money to spend. All you have to do is join me when and where I want. I will call and send a plane for you. What do you think?” she said putting her arm around him. “Sure, why not?” Luke said and the deal was sealed with a kiss.
