Chapter 46: Children To The Cassadines Lizzie had taken the day off work and was sitting at Luke's, Lucky and Emily were also there. Lizzie was constantly trying to figure who would do this to Henry and where Henry was but the other two tried to get her mind off it. It was no use. Emily and Lucky were worried too. Granted they weren't the closest to him, but they were still friends of his. Emily remembered the time they danced at New Year's Eve and then it came time for the kiss for 1998, Henry just gave her a quick peck on the cheek. They had some fun until they realized the party wasn't going to get any more interesting then a tad dull so everyone left. They had met a few times since then. Lucky had thought about all the times they hung out during lunchtime. Ever since that one fight had broken out in the cafeteria when Lisa was picking on Emily and Henry accidentally punched him they started talking a lot more. Now all three were depressed and prayed that Henry would be found alive. ~^~ Nikolas was practicing Tai Chi on the docks when Stefan approached him. Nikolas looked at Stefan and could tell he had something to say. Nikolas: What is it, Uncle? Stefan: I have very much to tell you. A lot has happened in the last couple of days you should know about. Nikolas: Like what? Stefan: Nikolas… It's about that young friend of your, Henry Corinthos. Nikolas: Well, we're not really friends but we get along okay. Why, what happened to Henry? Stefan: Helena has kidnapped him. Nikolas stopped his Tai Chi and stood looking at his uncle, confused. Kidnapped by his wicked grandmother? Nikolas: What? Why? Stefan: Nikolas, I have just recently learned that Henry is my son. Nikolas: Your son! How did that happen? Nevermind that, I can guess how, but when? What happened? Stefan: Years ago I had met his mother and we… we shared one night together. Helena had kept tabs on her and found out she was pregnant with my child. Helena imprisoned her but Sally escaped with our child and had been running around America for years. I just found out last night. I was going to see Henry when the police informed us that Henry had been abducted. Nikolas: This is very hard to believe. Stefan: There is a lot more. Nikolas: More? How much more could there be? Stefan: Alexis came to Wyndemere last night. She had been in tears and I asked her what was wrong. She is not Quinn's daughter. She is my sister, Natasha and Miranda is the child of Christen and Quinn. Nikolas: How could that be? Christen could not have had a child with Quinn, she would have already been dead. Stefan: It is a long story. Helena had brainwashed Quinn and had forced Christen to go along with it. Helena had given Christen plastic surgery and forced her to take the identity of Denise Davis. Nikolas: Alexis' mother. Stefan nodded. Nikolas could not believe what he was hearing. ~^~ Ned held Alexis in his arms as she finished crying. They were both in the Gatehouse sitting on the couch after Alexis had told him the whole rotten story of how she was Natasha. Ned: Don't worry Alexis, everything will be all right. Alexis: No it's not. My whole life is a lie and Helena wants me dead. Ned: Where did you mother go? Alexis: She's staying at my fath… I don't know what to call him. Father or Quinn. Ned: I believe you are still his daughter, in his eyes anyway. Alexis: I feel the same way, but he isn't my father. My father is dead and I hated him. I hated Mikkos, I grew up hating my own father. Ned: I don't understand this though, didn't Mikkos know what was going on? Alexis: Apparently not. He bought the fact that I was Denise and Quinn's daughter. Miranda would have never had to have an appearance. I don't really know for sure, though. ~^~ Quinn entered his home with a major hangover. He should not have drunk so much. Then he saw Denise there. Denise: Quinn, we need to talk- Quinn: Get out. I don't want to listen to anymore of your lies. Denise: Quinn, please believe me. I'm telling you the truth. Quinn: The truth is that Christen died years ago and that I have been taking care of Natasha all this time. Alexis is our daughter, not yours and Mikkos'. Denise: The truth is that Christen is alive and well and standing right before you. Quinn: You lie! Denise: Quinn please… Quinn pulled Denise close to him and gave her a deep kiss. Denise fought for a moment but then ended up kissing him back. Then Quinn pushed her back, a tear trembling down his cheek. Quinn: Oh my God… it's true. He stared deep into her eyes and finally recognized that she very much indeed was Christen. He then grabbed her shoulders forcefully, angry spread all over his face. Quinn: How could you do this to me!? How could you lie like that to me for all these years, letting me believe you were dead!? Letting me think Alexis was my daughter! Letting me think Miranda was Natasha! How could you? Denise: I did it for you and my daughters. Helena said she'd kill us all! Quinn: Well right now she's planning on killing Alexis and she already has Miranda in her hands! Denise: *crying* I know, that's why I came forward. I had to tell the truth so you could protect Alexis. Quinn: Too little, too late, Christen! You should have told me the truth a long time ago, I would have protected us all. Instead you had me running around putting Miranda into boarding schools trying to make sure no one harmed her and then you took Lexi, who I thought was my daughter, and you wouldn't all me to see her except for one weekend every other month. Denise started to loose her balance and almost fell but then regained it gain. She was crying so hard she could hardly find the strength to speak. Denise: It was part of the deal. Quinn: Part of the deal? PART OF THE GOD D*MN DEAL? Well, Christen, why don't we live up to that deal? Denise: What do you mean? Quinn: From now on you are as dead to me as you were before. Only this time, I won't long for you, I won't wish you were back in my arms. All I will do now is despise you! Denise: *quietly* You can't mean that- Quinn: Of course I mean it! Now get out of here! Denise stood there, crying. She could barely see with all the tears flooding her eyes. Quinn pointed angrily at the door and shouted again. Quinn: I SAID GET OUT! Denise grabbed her coat and walked to the door. Before she left she turned to Quinn. Denise: I hope someday you can understand why I did what I did. Quinn kept his back towards her, not dignifying her apology with any kind of response. Denise looked down sadly and left Quinn's house.
