Chapter 43: Lies Of A Lifetime Quinn sat in a bar, still trying to recover from what he had heard earlier. It couldn't be true. None of it. It was all just too much to believe. With some tears streaming down his eyes he sipped his martini and remembered what Denise had said. ~-~-~-~ Quinn and Alexis were standing in the living room of Quinn's house staring at Denise. Alexis: Mother, what are you doing here? Denise: Alexis, Honey, Quinn, there is a lot you need to know about. A lot Helena has forced me to keep secret. Quinn: What are you talking about Denise? Denise: No… my name is not Denise. Quinn: What are you talking about? Of course it's Denise, it's been Denise since before we were married. Denise: Quinn there is a lot you are not remembering. Alexis: Mother, how are you involved with Helena? Denise took off her coat and hung it up. Denise: Alexis, Quinn is not your father… They both looked at her in shock. Quinn: What are you talking about!? Of course she is! Denise: No, she is Mikkos' child. She is Natasha and Miranda is our daughter. Alexis: What?! Quinn: Denise, this isn't making any sense. Denise: Quinn, I'm not Denise, it's me, Christen. Quinn looked at her in disbelief. What was she talking about, she looked nothing like Christen but in the deepest parts of his soul he knew it was true. But on the surface, he couldn't believe it. Quinn: Liar. Denise: Quinn, Helena has manipulated your mind to remember everything differently. I never died like you remembered. You told Mikkos my child and I were dead so we could run off together. Then when I had Miranda, Helena found us and then brainwashed you. She made you believe I was really Denise Davis. I was forced to get plastic surgery so I would be able to take care of our daughter, Alexis. She gave you Miranda and passed it off as Natasha. I'm sorry, but it's true. Quinn grabbed Denise's shoulders forcefully. Quinn: Why are you doing this? Why are you lying like this? Alexis watched the whole thing, not sure what to believe. Alexis: Mother… why? Why would you do this? Quinn: She didn't do it, she's lying. Denise looked at Alexis. Denise: I had to… Helena told me this would be the only way we would all be able to live. Quinn: This can't be true. Leave, GET OUT OF HERE! Alexis: Father, please, she might be telling the truth. Quinn: Lexi, there is no way you could be Natasha. Alexis: It has already been proven that Miranda is too young to be Natasha and you said your memories are distorted. Quinn: No, there is no way I will believe that you are not my daughter, that the past thirty-six years of my life has been nothing but a lie! Quinn stormed out of the house. Alexis: Father… Denise: Quinn, please, don't go! ~-~-~-~ Quinn was sitting on the barstool and was close to crying his eyes out. He pulled out a picture of Alexis as a little girl in his wallet. Quinn: Lexi… Then he cried. Quinn: I don't care what Denise says… you're still my daughter. ~^~ Stefan stood in front of Sally, shocked at who he was looking at. Sally could not believe it either. It was him, all these months without realizing it. Stefan: We need to talk. Sally: Yes, we do. Stefan: Come to my office. They both went to his office and started to talk. Stefan: Sandra, Sally, whatever, how the hell do you know my mother? Sally looked at Stefan, not sure what to say. ~-~-~-~ Sally was twenty and it had been four years since she ran away from home. For the past three years she was staying with this family named the Richards. The lady of the manor had been kind enough to let her stay there and she went to a nearby university. The Richards were kind enough to pay for her intuition and she never really understood why. She never told them her real name, but went by the name Sandra Cori. She did not want them to find out where she came from. She was not ready to go home. The story of how she ended up in Greece was a long one. That night, the Cassadines were coming over. They had come over for dinner from time from time before, but this night was particularly different. Sally did not plan on going to dinner, instead she went down to a cafe to eat. She was eating a sandwich when she noticed a strikingly handsome man enter. He had blondish hair, was growing a goatee and was wearing black pants and a Grey shirt. The place was pretty full so he went up to her and asked if he could sit next to her. She told him he could. Sally: What's your name? Stefan did not want to say the truth. For one night he did not want to be known as a Cassadine. Stefan: Ronald Williams. Stefan thought that name should sound pretty average. Sally could tell he was lying though. Stefan: May I ask what your name is since I have told you my own? Sally smile warmly. Sally: My name is Sandra Cori. Stefan: It is a pleasure meeting you, Sandra Cori. Sally: Likewise, Ronald. ~^~ They were up in a hotel room by the cafe. Sally did not know how they had gotten there, they just did. They needed each other. "Ronald" had laid her on the bed and kissed her on her lips, her neck and so on. To make a long erotic, passionate, should-be-censored story short, they made love. ~-~-~-~ Sally: Ronald… I didn't recognize you the first time I saw you but I think somehow I knew. Stefan: Answer me. How do you know my mother? Sally: Shortly after that one night we met, your mother came to me out of no where. You see, I had gone to see the doctor because… well anyway she saw me and forced me to move in with her to watch me. She took care of me and… well she took care of me but because she frightened me so much I ran away. Stefan: But why would she force you to stay with her? Sally: Because… How was Sally going to explain this? She decided just to get it out and hope for the best. Sally: She had someone followed you that night we met 16 years ago. She found out who I was and after… well a month after we slept together I missed… well I went to a doctor and I… I… Stefan: What? Sally: I was pregnant! I was carrying your child so Helena forced me to move in with her so she could watch her grandchild and I have no idea why she didn't tell you. When Henry was six I ran away to the states, went back to my old name Sally Corinthos and continued to run around the country in hopes that your mother would never find me. Stefan: You mean Henry is my son. Sally: Yes, he is your child and he does not know.
