Chapter 42: The Link Between Three

Miranda sat back in her cell and could not believe she had actually agreed to 
help Helena.  Helena said she would fill her in later.  Miranda hoped she would 
be able to get out of this now that she's bought herself more time.  She seemed 
to have trouble concentrating on that though… She now knew for sure she was not 
really Mikkos' daughter, that her entire life was a lie.  Helena must be behind 
it, she could figure out that much.  But why?  Who was she really?

Sonny held Brenda in his arms at their house.  It was only a few days away from 
their wedding.

Before Tony and Sally could continue their conversation any further, Amy showed 
up.

Amy: Sally, there's a call on line three, it sounds pretty important.

Sally: Okay, thanks.

Sally looked at Tony.

Sally: Tony.

Tony: Sally.

Sally was glad to get out of that uncomfortable conversation.  She picked up the 
phone.

Sally: Hello?

Helena: I am calling again.  Do not hang up or you shall pay dearly.

Sally: What do you want, Helena?

Helena: What I've always wanted.  Did you really think running around America 
was going to keep you safe from me?

Sally: You can't…

Helena: Is this how you repay me for my kindness?  I took you in and put you 
through school.

Sally: To use me for some sick and twisted plan.  He will not go along with it.

Helena: Then both of you will feel my wrath.  Keep in touch.

Sally: Helena, wait!

She heard the phone disconnect and hung up the phone, frustrated.

Sally: Damn you, Helena Cassadine… damn you.

Sally tuned around and saw Stefan standing there, looking at her.  Did he hear 
her?  She hoped not, God only knew what his reaction might be if he realized the 
connection between her and his mother.  For a moment, something almost seemed 
familiar about Stefan just then.  She had seen him hundreds of times since she 
started working there but something seemed to be different.

Stefan: You…

Sally looked confused.  What was "You…" supposed to mean?

Stefan: Sandra Cori.

That was her name at one time and it was then that she realized who he was.

Gina walked into the lobby with Lizzie walking by her side.  They were both 
going to see the movie Titanic.  Then they saw Nikolas and Sarah nearby.  Gina 
hoped Nikolas wouldn't spot her but he did and they both went up to her.

Nikolas: Hey Gina, Lizzie.

Gina: Hello.

Lizzie: We're here to see Titanic, what about you two?

Nikolas: We're going to the same movie.

Lizzie just smiled.  She liked him as a person even with all the rumors going 
around about the evil Cassadines.

Sarah: Would you like to join us?

Lizzie mentally rolled her eyes.  Like she was going to spend the entire time 
watching Leonardo Decaprio with Sarah a couple of seats away moping.  Lizzie 
knew she was probably going to cry herself, but Sarah was just a little too 
touchy.  Lizzie was about to decline but Gina looked at Nikolas and gave a 
different answer.

Gina: Sure.

Lizzie looked at Gina and then followed her gaze to Nikolas.  Something was up.

Nikolas: Great.

Lizzie: *sarcastically* Yeah, this will just be great.

Lizzie, Gina, Nikolas and Barbie… er… Sarah went into the Movie Theater.

Venus went through all her stuff and nothing seemed to be night.  This was going 
to be her first real date with Jerry, it had to be perfect.

Jerry had arrived at the Outback early.  He was going to meet her there. He 
looked at his watch and wondered how long she was going to take.  Then he 
noticed a blonde at the bar looking at him.  She quickly looked away and picked 
up the phone.  Jerry didn't think much about it and just sat down.

The phone rang in V's apartment and she answered it.

Venus: Hello?

Felicia: V, its Felicia, Jerry's here.

Venus: Already?!?  Thanks for letting me know, bye.

V hung up and went crazy.  Finally she found the best clothes she could put on, 
put on a pair of earrings, some makeup and left.

Jerry was sitting at a table when he saw Venus coming from her apartment. Jerry 
viewed everything about her and she looked very gorgeous tonight.

Goddess on the mountain top
Burning like a silver flame
The summit of beauty and love
And Venus was her name
