Chapter 7: Miranda's Return

Alexis stared at Miranda as she stood there drinking the wine.  She was 
expecting Ned any minute, she couldn't do this now.

Alexis: Could we do this another time, Miranda, I am expecting someone.

Miranda: I'm not leaving until you tell me why you didn't tell my brother the 
truth.

Alexis: What truth?

Miranda: You know who I really am.

Mike met Sally outside of Luke's.

Mike: Are you sure he is in Port Charles?

Sally: Yes, he always likes to stay close to me, even though he pulls this.  
Last time we moved, he did this only I thought he would have grown out of it by 
now.

Mike: Could you give me a picture?  We could go around town and see if anyone 
recognizes him.

Sally: Great, thank you.

Mike: Have you called General Hospital, or Mercy?

Sally: Yes, no one fitting his description.

Sonny and Jason were at Luke's sitting at a table.  Sonny's cell phone rang and 
he answered it.

Sonny: Hello... What... Okay, thanks, bye.

Sonny hung up and Jason looked at him.

Jason: What is it?

Sonny: Miranda is back in Port Charles.

Jason: Why?

Sonny: I'm not sure.  She either came here to visiting Katherine Bell... or 
she's here to try to hook up with Jax again.

Jason: Should we do anything?

Sonny: No, I'm not going to worry myself about her... well... maybe have someone 
tail her.  I'm just a little curious about her returning.

Jason: Okay.  I'll call Joseph.

Sonny went up to the counter to get himself another drink when Mike came in.  He 
went up to the bar.

Luke: Mike, what are you doing here?  Don't you have a business to run?

Mike: I'm looking for somebody... my nephew.

Sonny: Nephew?

Mike: Remember when I told you about my sister, Sally?

Sonny: Yeah, the one that ran away.

Mike: Well, she's here, in Port Charles.  We met a few days ago and she just 
found out today that her son took off from New Jersey and is hiding in Port 
Charles.

Luke: Is there anything we can do?

Mike: Well, maybe...

He took out a picture and showed it to them.

Mike: Look out for anyone who looks like this.

Puts the picture away.

Mike: Luke, could I use the phone?  Sally said she already called the hospital, 
but I just wanted to double check.

Luke: Sure.

Brenda knocked on the door and V opened it.

V: Ms. Barret?

Brenda: Hi, can I come in?

V: Okay.

Brenda walked in.

Brenda: This is a nice place.

V: Thanks... what are you doing here?

Brenda: (looks to V) Well, with all the confusion, I never really got a chance 
to thank you, personally, for saving our lives in Tiger Key.

V: I was just doing my job.

Brenda: But you’re suspended and we were people you don't even know.

V: You needed help, and I felt it was something I had to do.

Brenda: Well, thanks just the same.

V and Brenda stood there with an awkward silence.

V: Anything else?

Brenda: Could you tell me what happened in the swamp?  The Tin Man's death 
appeared in her head again when Brenda asked that.

V: What do you mean?

Brenda: I trust Sonny, but I need to know we're safe.  I need you to tell me 
what happened with the Tin Man.
