Chapter 1: The Town Of Port Chuck

Carly looked at the toy and began to cry.  She remembered AJ giving it too her a 
week before and she was very sad.  Why did he have to do this? He was so sweet 
and kind to her while she was really thinking about getting him to drink again 
and keeping what could be his child away from him.  She played the tape, which 
had the song Tony wrote for her.  She cried all the way through it, putting her 
hands on her tummy.  Deep inside, she knew Tony was only staying with her 
because of the baby.  She thought that if there were no baby, he would go strait 
to Bobbie... old whore Bobbie.  She gritted her teeth.  She hated that woman.  
That woman treated her like trash acting like she was so much more superior then 
her and she hated her for it.  Carly sat up from the couch and looked at the 
medicine bag.  All she needed to set her plan in motion was in that bag.  She 
took a couple of steps towards it, but then abruptly walked to her room, laid 
down on the bed and began to cry.

Carly: There has to be another way.

V walked Jax back into his apartment.  It had been a long, exhausting adventure.  
Jax looked to V.

Jax: Good night.

V looked at the expression on his face.

V: What's wrong? Your friends are safe.

Jax: Friend.  I did this for Brenda, I don't care about Sonny.

V: Either way, they are both safe now.

Jax: Is she?  She's with a mob boss, how safe is it?  Jason Morgan and Robin 
Scorpio were almost killed in Mac's living room a couple of weeks ago.  Sonny's 
wife and child were killed in a car bomb and not to mention the time Brenda was 
shot in a shower.  As long as she's with him, she is not going to be safe.

V: Brenda loves Sonny, she made that quite clear in Tiger Key and they're 
getting married in short time.  I think it is about time you except that and 
stop following her around like a sad little lost puppy.

Jax: You're one to talk.  You have been stalking me around day and night for 
over a month.

V: I was doing my job, I take my job very seriously.

Jax: Well, it's okay to a certain extent.

V: There is no point in arguing now.  We have done enough of this on the atoll 
and it's finished, we're finally home.

Jax: Right... So, now are you going to answer my question?

V: What question?

Jax: What does V stand for?

He waited for an answer.

Sonny sat in his cell when Taggert came.

Taggert: (grumpily) You're free to go?

Sonny: So soon?

Taggert: Just get out of my sight.

Sonny got up and was escorted back to the office.  There he saw Brenda waiting.  
She got up and hugged him.  Jason was standing nearby.

Brenda: Valentine was able to clear me of charges.  We're both free to go.

Emily lay on her bed and looked at her diary.  She hadn't really thought about 
it up until now.  She found it in her usual hiding place and just stared at it.  
Pierce Dorman was able to use all her thoughts, all her secrets against her 
family and Matt was the one who gave it to him.  She still hadn't sorted her 
feeling about Matt.  She could feel some anger and resentment, but also pain and 
sadness.  Emily walked down from her room to the living room and saw it was 
empty. She walked to the fireplace and got a fire started.  She waited and then 
threw in her diary.  She wanted to see it burn to ash.

Sally walked along the docks until she reached the Recovery Room.  She walked in 
and saw the place was empty.  There Mike was, putting up some chairs.  He looked 
to her.

Sally: I'm sorry, is it too late?

Mike: Oh no, it's not too late.  What can I get you?

Sally: Well... how about anything with alcohol.

Mike: Okay.

Mike poured her a glass of bear and gave it to her.

Sally: Thanks.

Mike: What's your name?

Sally looked at him, nervously and told him.

Sally: Sally... Corinthos.

Mike looked at her face when she said that.  At first, he couldn't believe it, 
but then he realized it was true.

Mike: Sis?

Sally: Yes... it's me.  You’re little sister.
