Chapter 32

Robin and AJ are in the living room of the Quartermaine mansion. AJ has just 
told Robin that he case to get Michael isn’t going well. Robin then shocks AJ by 
asking him to marry her. After a few seconds AJ reacts. 

AJ: What… What did you just say? 

Robin: You heard me AJ. I just asked you to marry me. I know that I should get 
on one knee. But I decided not to do that. 

AJ: I love you Robin. But I am not going to marry you just to get my son. You 
deserve better. 

Robin: There is no one better then you AJ. My dad married Holly for her unborn 
child. Why can't I do the same thing for you. And there is one difference 
between my dad and me. 

AJ: What? 

Robin: Dad didn't love Holly at the time of there marriage. They fell in love 
later. But I already love you. We were moving toward this anyway. 

AJ then leaves the living room. After a few minutes he comes back he shows Robin 
a box. Robin opens it. She looks at him in shock. 

AJ: Yeah. Their engagement rings. I was going to wait until the trial ends to 
ask you. 

Robin: So you’re going to say yes. 

AJ: I want to wait until next year. 

Robin: Why wait AJ. You saw me almost die when I was shot. When you have a 
possible fatal illness you think in the now because tomorrow can bring the bad 
news. We love each other and are moving toward marriage. 

AJ: Are you sure that you want to be a Quartermaine? You know this family. 

Robin: Yes I do. I come from a family of WSB agents. I know strange families. I 
know that the Quartermaines love each other in there own strange way. I would 
fit in pretty well. 

AJ: Yes you would Robin. But you saw what being a Quartermaine has done to Emily 
and Lois was driven out. 

Robin: So I will know what to expect. AJ I love you and want to be your wife. I 
want to know. Will you marry me? 

AJ gives his answer.
