Chapter 6

Duke and Robin watched as Duncan took a phone call. After a few minutes Duncan 
finished his phone call. Duke noticed the look on his friend’s face. He asked 
Duncan if there was a problem.

Duncan: It’s a minor problem.

Due: Tell me about it? Who was on the phone?

Duncan: It was Amanda.

Duke: Amanda. That’s a name I haven't heard in a long time. How is she?

Duncan: She is living in Paris. She has a friend on the police force there. And 
she just told me that the police commissioner of Port Charles is asking 
questions about Robin.

Robin: Uncle Mac?

Duncan: He is related to you. Apparently you are a witness in the murder of some 
mob boss there.

Duke: They found Moreno's body?

Duncan: You killed him I guess?

Duke: He killed Robin and I killed him.

Duncan: He wants to ask Robin some questions. So what are we going to do?

Robin: Let me speak to him. I should call him anyway.

Duke: You sure?

Robin: Yes.

Robin gets a phone and dials Mac's number.

Mac: Scorpio?

Robin: Hi Uncle Mac.

Mac: ROBIN. I am glad you called. How are you?

Robin: I am ok. How are you and the girls?

Mac: We are ok.  I wanted to ask you about Moreno.

Robin: I wanted to call you Uncle Mac but for my safety I thought that I should 
get away. He came up to me. I made my escape.

Mac: With the help of someone else?

Robin: Yes. A friend of mine.

Mac: Are you sure that you are ok?

Robin: I  am ok. He did fire some shots at me as I left. I was grazed in my 
side. But I was treated and it was only a scratch.

Duke and Duncan looked at her.

Mac: Robin!

Robin: I am ok Uncle Mac. I just wanted to call you and let you know that I am 
ok. I am not in Paris. I am staying with a friend. I will call you soon bye."

Mac: Bye Robin.

Robin hangs up. Duncan and Duke look at her.

Robin: He knows about Duke being there and about what happened at the bridge.

Duke: But you admitted being wounded?

Robin: The police must have found blood, which they will match to me. By telling 
him this story he will not ask any more questions about what happened.

Duncan: All right. You should get some rest.

Robin heads upstairs to get some rest.
