Chapter 2

Robin was in shock over the events of the past several minutes. She had been 
murdered by Moreno and then saw a very alive Duke.  He had gotten her out of the 
scene and made arrangements with Angel to clean up the scene. She and Duke were 
driven to the airport where boarded a jet which flew off.  

Robin: All right Uncle Duke. What’s going on here? I should have died and you 
died but I am guessing that we aren't dead.

Duke: There is no easy way to tell you so I will be direct. I am an immortal and 
so are you.

Robin: I am immortal? There is no such thing.

Duke: You are alive Robin. Your wounds were fatal. And I am 350 years old.

Robin: That old you don't look over 200.

Duke: You have Anna's sense of humor. That’s a good thing for us immortals.

Robin: So what happens to me?

Duke: We are on our way to see my best friend. He has been a friend for 
centuries. He and I are going to be training you.

Robin: Training?

Duke: Yes. There are things you need to know. You will learn them. But for now 
it is so great to see you Robin. So grown up. You look so much like Anna.

Robin: You look great yourself. But so different then the last time I saw you.

Duke: Your talking about the phony me. That Duke was a setup Robin.

Robin: But he acted like you.

Duke: It was an actor. He was hired by Faison. The plan was for him to deliver 
you and Anna to him. But Julian killed the phony me. 

Robin:  I can't believe that I fell for it.

Duke: I know. Don’t blame yourself Robin.

The plane then lands. Robin and Duke are driven to a place. They go in. A man 
comes in. Robin looks at Duke.

Duke: I know. It’s something you feel when you come in contact with other 
immortals. It’s the way we know who we are. You will understand. Robin Scorpio 
let me introduce you to Duncan MacLeod. Duncan, my goddaughter Robin.
